Our very own Glen Crossland has signed up to take part in the special Foodservice Charity Football Match which is fundraising for the families of the Manchester attack victims.
The match has been organised by Marc Sumner and the team at H2O Publishing, to gather together this in the foodservice industry to lend a helping hand to those affected by the tragic attack last month.
Each player will be donating £25 and funds are also being raised through an online Just Giving page which automatically enters those donating into a raffle to win some fantastic prizes including signed Ricky Hatton boxing gloves, an Apple Watch, cocktail hamper and much more.
Walnut’s marketing manager Liam is also doing his bit and stepping up as videographer of the event and will be heading to Blackpool with Glen to catch the players in action.
“Walnut Creative are extremely happy to be part of this fantastic event, we are all totally behind the fundraiser after the devastating attacks in Manchester, and will be donating £50,” said Glen.
“I think it’s fantastic that the foodservice industry can come together like this and show their support for such a worthy cause.
