The team at Walnut Creative were delighted to attend the opening of The Claire Clark Academy in Milton Keynes last night.

Glen and Liam headed down to the newly-formed academy based at Milton Keynes College on May 18th, where they took photos and filmed videos on behalf of Induced Energy, who supplied the mobile induction units for academy’s newly designed facilities.

The Claire Clark Academy was formed by BBC’s Bake-Off Crème de la Crème judge, Claire Clark, in partnership with Milton Keynes College to offer a range of unique Patisserie courses for at home bakers to those seeking a career as a pastry chef, Patisserie chef or baker.

Opened at the college’s Bletchley Campus, the Walnut team were joined by top pastry chefs from around the world, including celebrity TV chef Tom Kerridge who joined Claire to cut the ribbon an give a few words to the attendees regarding the unrivalled skillset that Claire will share with students of the academy.

The night was filled with academy sponsors, equipment suppliers and future students who will be able to enrol onto course from September of this year, receiving expert tutoring in the brand new, state of the art pastry kitchen.

Both Claire and Tom cut the ribbon to open the facility, and Walnut were lucky enough to capture filmed interviews with both of the Chefs along with numerous other industry experts.
